Barbara Plura completed her studies in Applied Research in Engineering Science at Augsburg University. In 2017, she completed her master's degree with a thesis on "Asymmetries in the High-Voltage Grid." She then worked as a project engineer at an engineering office for electrical planning (2018-2022). Since 2022, Barbara Plura has been working as a technical grid planner in the asset management department of the grid operator LVN. Since then, she has been involved in exploring potential solutions that can contribute to the success of the energy transition – one example being the project "Einspeisesteckdose" (feed-in socket).
