Berna is a Senior Director in the Project & Infrastructure Finance team of ABN AMRO with a focus and passion in financing energy transition projects. Berna’s background is on mergers & acquisitions advisory where she worked for a total of 10 years in Istanbul and in Amsterdam. She has been acting as a senior in originating, structuring and executing project finance transactions for the past 8 years at ABN AMRO. She has participated in financing numerous energy transition related transactions in offshore wind, onshore wind, solar PV, geothermal, battery storage and energy-from-waste sectors. Berna has gained substantial experience in the European BESS market thanks to her role in various BESS financings that ABN AMRO has been involved to date across various geographies.
