Marie is a fully qualified lawyer and responsible for managing political stakeholder relations at sonnen to improve legal frameworks for batteries. She started dedicating her work on heavily regulated industries in 2009 when she worked at a French chemical company. During her PhD (Dr. iur.) she deepened the focus on energy regulation researching the regulatory discretion of the Bundesnetzagentur (German Federal Network Agency) regarding the equity yield rates of the DSOs. In her professional career Marie started gaining extensive experience on electricity grid regulation in a Berlin law firm. She briefly worked at an American law firm on international sanctions and trade compliance, before returning to her passion of energy law.
