Mariyana Yaneva is Chief Operations Officer (COO) at IPS, an energy technology company specialising in R&D, design, and manufacture of advanced energy storage solutions for utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) and microgrids serving critical infrastructure, data centres, and industrial sites. In this role, she leads the alignment of the company’s strategic vision, operational execution, and business development for Exeron, the newly launched European gigafactory for utility-scale BESS and the first manufacturing capacity to be awarded strategic status under the European Commission’s Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA).
Beyond her current corporate responsibilities, Mariyana brings more than 20 years of cross-sector experience spanning business intelligence, renewable energy, and smart grids. She has a strong track record in strategic execution and in advocating for improved regulatory frameworks and market signals that support resilient supply chains and the competitive deployment of renewable energy and energy storage technologies.
