Michal Swol is a senior energy and finance executive with over 25 years of experience across renewables, power and natural gas markets, and grid distribution, with a strong focus on large-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Since joining R.Power in 2020, he has led Structured Finance, Commercialization, and Business Analytics, playing a key role in investment decision-making as the company expands its renewable energy and storage portfolio across Europe under its Independent Power Producer strategy. Before joining R.Power, he was a Partner at Movens Capital, a VC/PE fund. Between 2009 and 2018, he served as CFO and Deputy CEO of Duon, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and later held senior leadership roles at Fortum Markets Polska following Duon’s acquisition by Fortum. Earlier, he held advisory positions at Orange, KPMG, and Nafta Polska, focusing on M&A, financial structuring, and strategy. He is a CIMA-qualified finance professional and a member of ACMA and CGMA.
