Nora Amer Mahgoub is a Senior Research Consultant at FfE and has been part of the Energy Systems and Markets team since 2024. Building on her previous experience at renewable energy and later battery storage developers, Nora specializes in the integration of large-scale battery storage systems into the German energy system. She conducts analyses on the impact of different operating strategies and market conditions—including the use of flexible connection agreements (FCAs) and dynamic grid charges—on BESS revenues. In addition, she contributes to the design of FCAs, currently including a joint project with N‑ERGIE. Within the FfE Large‑Scale Battery Storage Cooperation Forum, her research includes a thematic focus on Co‑Location. Nora holds a master's degree from Technical University of Munich.
