Odin Foldvik Eikeland is a Senior Analyst in Rystad Energy’s Renewables & Power team, where he serves as the team lead for the Continental Europe Renewables & Power research. His core research focuses on power market research and intelligence, including policies, long-term power supply and demand outlooks, and research on project-level data.  Besides, Odin is heading Rystad Energy’s global Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) solution. 
Before joining Rystad Energy, he completed a doctoral degree in machine learning and power system optimization. He spent one year during his PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, US, working on power system modeling, with a specific focus on combined solar PV and battery systems. He has also served as a consultant for utility companies during his PhD research. He holds an MSc degree in Energy, Climate, and Environment from UiT – the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsoe, Norway.
